My grandmother recently went to hunt for rehab as we desperately wanted to get her out of a horrible rehab she was in. The staff was very welcoming and made us very comfortable her first night. The motivation from staff to get my grams home was so encouraging to us that she might be able to come back home. I met a series of people from the amazing social worker that worked so closely with us, caring humorous nurses that kept smiles on our faces, and other family members experiencing the same situations.

We were searching for a nursing facility to place mom in towards the end of her life. Her dementia had progressed to the point where we were unable to care for her at home safely.

The nurse practitioner had multiple meetings with me my mom and multiple aunts. She was able to get my grams off so many unnecessary meds. I was very impressed with the greating my mom, aunt, and I got when we came in to tour. The administrator Ken came out of his office and introduced himself which I found impressive. The socialworker set us up with a great VNA Alternative home health. We owe it all to Hunt and all her after care providers that have kept her thriving in the community.

Nursing homes can have a mixture of Medicare, Medicaid, and private beds. Certified beds represent how many Medicare and/or Medicaid beds are at the facility. Inquire with the nursing home directly to determine exactly what kinds of beds are available. Star ratings are often best used for basic comparisons and when deciding which facilities to visit. However, nothing beats actually visiting the nursing home yourself when possible.

The very first night I got here, I had an issues with my medications, so right off I was nervous about this place. The very next morning Val came to visit and then Nicole and they made sure everything was taken care of. My experience here has been great, I love seeing the dog and enjoy having a private room. I really appreciate the care I got here and if I ever need it again, I will be back.

Everyone from the clinical staff to the executives are caring individuals who seem to love what they do. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a place to care for there loved ones. Food and dining is an important consideration when selecting facility. This community can accommodate special diets, such as low-salt, low-sugar, and others, for residents who require them.
The staff we met were kind and very understanding of our situation and took the time to explain the services as well as their partnership with several hospice agencies when we were ready. We received a tour of the facility and all concerns about leaving mom here were answered without hesitation. We witnessed some of the activities that were going on and the residents appeared to be having a great time and laughing with staff. The facility was clean and the staff were friendly and approachable. We would have had no hesitation in placing our mother in the care of the skilled staff at Hunt however mom never got the chance and passed away faster than expected.
